This weeks image was captured during my recent trip to Samoa and American Samoa. For those that haven’t heard of American Samoa before, it’s one of the six unincorporated territories of the United States of America (the most notable of the other five is Puerto Rico).
Although I found this tiny island nation to not be as steep in culture, as it’s close neighbor Samoa (formerly Western Samoa), I felt its coastline was blessed with more natural beauty than that of Samoa (although not by much). This image shows just a small slice of that unique coastal beauty, in a part of the world rarely frequented by tourists.
