Orangutans are exclusively found in Asia, and are the most intelligent species of all the worlds primates, and are also critically endangered. They are native to Indonesia and Malaysia, and are currently only found on the Islands of Borneo and Sumatra. Through the help of rehabilitation centre’s, like the one found in the town of Sepilok, on the island of Borneo, Orangutans are slowly seeing their numbers increase once again.
