The vast openness of the Mongolian Steppe is quite a site. This is a harsh, but very beautiful country, and the nomadic lifestyle of those who live on the Steppe has to be admired.
Whilst heading out on our four day adventure on the Mongolian Steppe, we passed this very colourful religious Ovoo on the side of the road. I had to stop and get a photo of it, as it was one of the largest we saw,
Details and information on our train journey in 2007, that took us from the arctic circle in Finland all the way to China. The Trans Siberian is the mother of all train trips, and was something that we had wanted to do for many years. We also stopped at various places along the way.
