An image of a mother and baby Gorilla, taken at Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park back in 2003. Spending a solitary hour with these creatures is an unforgettable experience, and something thats hard to describe in words.
This weeks image was taken at the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation centre. Orangutans are exclusively found in Asia, and are the most intelligent species of all the worlds primates, and are also critically endangered.
This weeks image is of a young male lion on the lush plains of the world famous Serengeti national park of Tanzania. I took this shot back in 2001 when Liza and I travelled through east and central Africa.
A post with details, images and information on our trip to the Malaysian state of Sabah, on the island of Borneo in 2008. This trip had a little bit of everything, from five star luxury to adventourous four wheel driving in the remote jungle area’s. We also had a short visit to Brunei for New Years Eve, as well as a quick stop over in Kuala Lumpur.
